Individual “Group Tour” with Expedition Feeling as well as Comfort
Malawi, Zambia and Tanzania
„Our Home is Africa“
Currently we are preparing several Safaris for 2016 to Malawi and areas in Eastern and North-Eastern Zambia with little touristic infrastructure.
During the trip we’ll try to integrate personal preferences of the participants, for example visitations of traditional villages and urban townships, schools, health centers, traditional healers, mission stations, church services, art projects. Meetings with development experts. Mountain hiking.
Our Safari Concept:
Participants will travel individually (single or group) in our own 4×4 Safari cars. The cars are specially equipped for travelling and living “off the beaten track” in the African bush and provide roof top tent, camping gear, container for potable water, camping deep freezer, etc.
Due to security reasons at least two cars travel together. While travelling in National Parks or under difficult road conditions the whole group will stay together. Via radio phone or mobile telephone we will be able to communicate and get assistance if needed.
A supply truck (a modified former fire truck) with mobile catering facilities and a chef, with sufficient clean water and additional safari equipment will escort the tour and provide for a comfortable camping life in the African bushland.
During our 3 week Safari we will spend at least 7 nights camping in the bush; other overnight accommodation facilities will include Lodges in National Parks and hotels. With our equimpent we are independent and self-sufficient to master any problem that might arise.
A trip with the TAZARA railroad or on board the Ilala vessel can be integrated into our journey. Both have important functions connecting remote villages with local centers. We arrange experienced guides, clean food supply, security and “back up” services. All our trips will be accompanied by German and local tour guides and a cook.
