At Chipo Musandi Safari Club our goal is to provide the most comfortable and hassle-free trip you will ever have. We combine small groups trips and safaris for the independent traveler. This will be the experience of a life time.
Chipo Musandi Safari Club specialises in adventure tours mainly in sparsely visited, otherwise hard to reach areas of south-eastern Africa, where you can experience culture and nature at its best.
Our destinations are located away from mass tourism of Africa – where Africa has largely remained authentic.
But this also means that not everything can be planned and not all possibilities can be predicted. Therefore, a certain degree of flexibility is expected from our clients as weather, road conditions, government agencies, limited shopping possibilities etc. might interrupt the program. Above all, the course of the journey might be influenced and change by a day or two.
Our clients usually travel together with three adults in a four-wheel drive vehicle – not in a bus or on a converted truck. Younger children travel – if necessary – with the adults on the second row. *
You share the driving with the other members of your car-crew or we will provide a driver, who then acts as your personal “tourist guide”.
Our cars are especially equipped for traveling and living in the bush (including roof tent, camping equipment, fresh water, fridge, and much more).
A support vehicle with generous kitchen facilities, sufficient amount of clean water and safari equipment will accompany the tour and ensure a comfortable life even in the African bush. The supply vehicle can carry a larger amount of individual luggage.
With our three week safari we will spend 7 nights camping in the bush, 7 nights in local lodges with simple but clean rooms and bathing facilities and 7 nights in good hotels according to international standards.
With our equipment, we are self-sufficient, should there be problems with the prebooked accommodation. The camping places are usually very basic. But we offer spacious tents with thick mattresses or camp beds for adventurous bedside star gazers.
It is expected that our clients assist with setting up the camp, and with shopping and cooking. While camping, the meals are freshly prepared in accordance with the availability of fresh produce from the local markets. The food will be delicious and plentiful, but we will not be able to offer the diversity you may be accustomed to. In general, the supply of dairy products is very limited. The car crews will alternate to be in charge of the meals. When staying in hotels we have to order the food in advance and will try to meet the individual needs of our guests.
Due to our safari concept and structure our tours are also suitable for “senior citizens”. We also look forward to children and young people participating in our trips.
We are able to organize special safaris that are “tailor-made” to meet the needs of specific target groups. (eg. larger family groups, associations and clubs, companies, etc.)
